Terms of Service

These draft terms describe the intended MVP rules for using FleetFSM as a service marketplace.

Platform role

FleetFSM is intended to operate as a marketplace and intermediary that helps customers and providers find each other, exchange order information, and manage service workflow. The platform does not become a party to the service agreement between customer and provider.

Customer and provider responsibility

Customers are responsible for the accuracy of their requests and for choosing a suitable provider. Providers are responsible for their profile information, bids, professional qualifications, service delivery, and compliance with laws that apply to their work.

No payment or escrow in MVP

This MVP does not process payments, hold escrow, guarantee payment, or settle commercial disputes. Any price, invoice, payment, tax, refund, or warranty arrangement is handled directly between customer and provider outside the platform.

Reviews and moderation

The platform may allow reviews after completed work. Administrators may hide reviews, block accounts, reject verification requests, or restrict access when content appears abusive, misleading, unsafe, fraudulent, or harmful to marketplace trust.

Files and communications

Users may upload files and send messages related to orders. Users must not upload malware, illegal material, confidential information they are not allowed to share, or content that violates the rights of others.

Third-party data

The city reference comes from GeoNames (geonames.org), licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0. Map data comes from OpenStreetMap and its contributors, licensed under the ODbL. Distances shown on the platform are computed from this data, and are marked as approximate whenever they are measured to the centre of a city rather than to a pin on the map.
